Hey Mama!
It's the first question on every clients mind once they book in their Gold Coast Maternity Photography session in with me. What will I wear arghhh!!!
Well lucky for you I have a nice selection of a few size-inclusive items that will take the stress of worrying about what to wear right out of your day.
Usually I like to aim for 2 different looks for your maternity session, often depending on your style preference and what feels good for you. But often Ill start with a dress option like the one above from my previous rural Victoria sessions. This ticks the box of something elegant but suitable for gifting to your parents, grandmother and will help you to feel comfortable at the start of the session.
Then we can move to a bit more of a glamorous maternity outfit or something you might not normally wear. It's a special moment for you and a good opportunity to try a new look.
In your What to Wear Guide Ill ask you to bring a white top and matching bottom as pictured above and come wearing a nude coloured thong which you will leave on under any items I dress you in.
For your partner (If they are coming to the session) I always like to have them bring two options - a dark and a light. Paying particular attention to the fabric - if it wrinkles (Like a formal shirt) you will see these in the photos. Options like linen shirts, knit sweaters and fabrics that are not too tight or restrictive. Keep everything really simple. A cream or white linen button down shirt with light denim shorts, or light tan shorts are always my go to. Bring a black t-shirt or button down shirt is a great way to have another option in case I put you in a darker colour.
What you wear will effect the entire look of the photo, and it is important we pay a bit of attention to get it right.
